Gmail down: Google email not working for users, not responding in Outlook and Apple Mail

HUNDREDS of Gmail users across the UK have been left unable to send or receive emails due to an issue with the Google-operated email service. Users have complained about the issue on social media, which also impacted those trying to check emails in third-party apps, like Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail on their laptops, desktops, smartphones and tablets.
