GOOGLE has dramatically expanded the reach of its video call platform, Google Meet. Previously reserved for enterprise and education users, Google will now allow anyone with a Google Account to jump on a call with up to 100 friends or family. This will make Google Meet, available in your Chrome browser or Android or iOS apps, a true competitor to the likes of WhatsApp, Zoom, Houseparty and others.
