'Are they sending me to die?' Windrush generation reveal horror over threat of deportation

TWO members of the Windrush generation who came to Britain from Jamaica as children of immigrants to plug labour shortfalls after World War Two have told a parliamentary committee how decades later they were locked up as they fought to prove their right to remain in the UK.
